Racing for Saturday, July 23 was canceled due to rain. Practice was just about completed for the afternoon when rain started to fall before qualifying. Officials waited for a small period of time before deciding to pull the plug, as more rain was heading toward the Midvale metropolitan area.
Racecar rides for kids, Figure 8's, racecar bingo and five divisions of action will be on the schedule for this coming Saturday, July 30.
Pit gates will open at 2:00, hotlaps and grandstands at 3:00, qualifying at 4:45, and racing action at 6:30.
Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 62+, $8 for kids 6-15, and children 5 and under are free. Pit admission is $25 for members and $30 for non-members.
Those with wristbands and rain checks from the July 23 event will need to present them the next week or two for re-entry.
