Due to morning rain and an unfavorable forecast later today and tonight, officials from Midvale Speedway have again canceled the racing action. The May 14 program was scheduled to have the Circle Track Mini-Trucks plus Late Models, Economy Modifieds, and both Compact divisions. Unfortunately, the Trucks do not have any open dates left on their schedule for a make-up, so they will not be making a 2011 appearance.
Racing will continue, maybe, this coming Saturday May 21 with the five weekly divisions plus Figure 8's and Spectator Drag qualifier #2. It will also be Twin State Fan Club night.
Pit gates open at 2:00, hotlaps and grandstands at 3:00, qualifying at 4:45, and racing action will begin at 6:30. Grandstand admission will be $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 62+, $8 for kids 6-15, and children 5 and under are free. Pit admission is $25 for members and $30 for non-members.
