The ARCA Truck Series event this past Saturday, August 14, was canceled due to a torrential downpour. It was the first rainout at the speedway since June 5th. Due to the current schedule for the rest of the season, the ARCA Truck race will not be rescheduled.
This coming Saturday, August 21 will feature the faster pastor race at intermission. The speedway is looking for about 7 pastors interested in competing against one another. To sign up, please contact the speedway at info@midvalespeedway.com as soon as possible. Spots may go fast.
Late Models, Sport Stocks, Pure Stocks, Compacts, and Figure 8's will all be competing. Heats, pursuits, and features are scheduled.
Midvale division competitors with wristbands from this past Saturday, may use them on either of the next two weeks. Those that purchased tickets for general admission may use them either of the next two weeks. Since the admission price was $3 more for adults and seniors, a $3 refund will be returned to the customer when exchanging their ticket.
Pit gates are going to open at 2, hotlaps at 3, qualifying at 5, and racing action will start at 6:30.
Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $8 for kids 6-15, and children five and under are free.
