Weather has been the main topic during the 2010 racing season at Midvale Speedway. Mother Nature's wrath has continued to cause cancellations and it continued this past Saturday, June 5, as Midvale Speedway lost another due to heavy rain.
The kid's bike races and the powder puff events for Pure Stocks and Compacts have been moved to Saturday, June 19.
This coming Saturday, June 12 will see Late Models, Sport Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Compacts one the schedule. Also, attempting to run their first race in 2010, the wild and crazy Figure 8's. A special on-track autograph session will be held at intermission for all of the drivers in attendance.
The first 200 kids in attendance will receive a special full color flyer displaying all of Midvale Speedway's racers in 2010. It will be a perfect memento to be signed by their favorite drivers at intermission. They are being provided by www.philchalmers.com
Pit gates open at 2:00, hotlaps and grandstands at 3:00, qualifying at 4:30, and racing at 6:30. The autograph session will be at intermission, or approximately 7:40.
Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 62+, $8 for kids 6-15, and children 5 and under are free. Pit admission is $25 for members and $30 for non-members.
