Midvale Speedway officials were forced to cancel the racing action this past Saturday, July 25, due to several passing showers that moved through the area.
The USA Modified Series event will not be rescheduled, due to scheduling conflicts and since both entities are in the final stretch of the season.
Racing will continue this coming Saturday, August 1, with Old-Timers Night 2009. Longtime veterans of Midvale Speedway will be honored at intermission, while Late Models, Sport Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Compacts will be the show. The trailer race has been postponed until further notice.
Pit gates open at 2:00, hotlaps start at 3:00, qualifying is at 4:45, and racing will take the green at 6:30. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors 62+, $6 for kids 6-15, and children 5 and under are free.
